sencillamente genial.compre este cepillo por los buenos comentarios,suela totalmente plana,los lados a 90 grados mecanizado de las partes perfecta solo necesita una lija muy fina en los angulos para pulirlos.probe a cepillar madera de castaño tal como biene la hoja,muy bien.un afilado mas fino y quedara perfecta,sistema de regulacion me cuesta un poco adaptarme,cuestion de usarlo un poco.gracias stanley y ademas frabricado en Europa

Lo compré por las buenas críticas y por la calidad que se le supone a la marca. Vino con la hoja de corte perfectamente afilada, pero los tornillos tienden a aflojarse con el uso y hay que irlo reajustando.

Sono un hobbista, avevo bisogno di questo strumento.La pialla lavora a meraviglia.Per un neofita come me occorre fare un po' di esperienza per effettuare le regolazioni, a seguire, risultati perfetti.Il marchio Stanley non si smentisce per qualita'.Aggiungo che ho avuto un problema con il primo ordine, l'alberino che regola la profondita' di taglio non funzionava.Ho effettuato il reso, nessun problema, il binomio Amazon Stanley mi ha immediatamente rispedito un prodotto perfettamente funzionante.Perfetto.Il prezzo e' adeguato alla funzionalita' ed anche alla qualita' dei materiali.Pialla straconsigliata

Es un cepillo premiun. Probado en cuanto me llegó. Va como la seda. Base rectificada a la perfección, cuchilla afilada…Da gusto trabajar con una buena herramienta manual…

No es un cepillo especialmente caro pero es de muy buena calidad. Seguramente no sea tan bueno como los de marcas premium, pero es infinitamente mejor que los de gama baja de Stanley, Faithfull y demás.El mecanismo de ajuste lateral es mucho mejor que los de palanca y todo puede ajustarse con precisión sin que haya desajustes durante el trabajo.Llegó listo para trabajar, solo le di un pequeño repaso a la cuchilla, que por cierto es mucho más gruesa y dura que la de los cepillos baratos. Nada que ver con otros cepillos baratos que requieren un montón de correcciones antes de poder hacer algo decente con ellos.Un 10, compra totalmente recomendada.

Es mi primer cepillo y he quedado súper encantado, tras leer un montón de comentarios tenía dudas de si llegaría en buenas condiciones o de calidad, pero todo lo contrario todo a escuadra y con buen afilado. Sin hacer ningún ajuste y sin experiencia en cepillado llenando la caja de Amazon de virutas de todo tipo de tamaño. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda para cualquier novato que desee empezar sin tener que romperse la cabeza nivelando la suela. Si alguien recibe uno en mal estado que lo devuelva y pida otro porque los hay buenos. 👌No pongo cinco estrellas porque no he probado otros cepillos que se suponen de mejor calidad.

A small visitor to my shop tried to pick up my No4 off the bench. And, it hit the floor and cracked the body. You have to watch toddlers around attractive tools, and I should have put it away earlier. So, I was instantly, and unexpectedly in the market for a new No4. After reading reviews and checking prices this seemed worth a gamble.I haven’t really used it much. I have at this point just turned it and checked it. Out of the box I checked it with a machinist square, and it seems true flat and square. I put a couple of marks on the sole and started with 600-grit black carbide sand paper. All the marks were gone in five passes. So, the sole came flat. The sides were flat and at ninety to the sole checking with the high dollar Starret square that lives in its box in the drawer of precision tools. I can’t get them any better. so, I left them alone. Then I honed the blade starting at 600, and going up-to 2000-grit. Before I put the blade back in, I took a file and relieved the sharp edges of the body just a bit. Then I set it up, and tried a few passes. Good clean shavings.Summary: Pluses, Quality, as good as my Lee Valley Veritas planes. Wish it had the two set screws they have, to keep the front of the blade centered. But I own a drill press and some taps. If it bothers me after I use it for a bit, I can install them. Minuses, there are no available blades. The blade looks pretty close to a Kung blade out of Germany which looks like it might work, and I may decide to get one and see. If it does, I’ll come back and update.Value, when I ordered this plane it was $134, with shipping. At that price it is an outstanding value. But the price is now $238. At that price it is still seems to be a good value.

Der Hobel wurde perfekt , also "ready to go" ausgeliefert. Die Sohle ist absolut plan geschliffen, die Seiten genau im 90 Grad Winkel geschliffen. Das Eisen ist gebrauchsfertig geschliffen. Der Hobel hat zu anderen den Vorteil, das die Spanabnahme noch mal feiner abzunehmen ist, als bei herkömmlichen Billighobeln aus China. Selbst bei Hartholz in Buche und Eiche überzeugt mich der Stanley No. 4 Sweetheart. Kein Ruckeln kein, der Span kommt super gleich aus dem Hobel. Ich arbeite seit zirka 40 Jahren mit herkömmlichen Holzhobeln, aber dieser Stanley ist mir ans Herz gewachsen. Ausserdem liegt dieser Hobel in meinen größeren Händen perfekt, da die Griffe ausreichend groß gehalten sind und dadurch bei längeren und schweren Hobelarbeiten angenehm zu halten ist (Bei Chinahobeln hatte ich schon andere Erlebnisse). Ich kann die teilweise schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen, da dieser Hobel absolut für professionelle Anwendungen gebaut ist. Ein Argument dafür ist das genaue Einstellrad für die Spanabnahme und für das Ausrichten des Hobeleisens. Man kann sogar diese Einstellung mit einem eigenen Fixierrad feststellen. Alle Stanley Hobel die ich besitze werden immer mit einem nicht ganz festgezogenen Griff ausgeliefert. Das hat den Grund, da die Hobel aus Übersee kommen, und mit unterschiedlichen Luftfeuchtigkeiten konfrontiert sind. Deshalb sollte man vor dem ersten Gebrauch den großen hinteren Griff mit einem Schraubendreher festmachen. Neben dem Stanley Nr. 62 gehört nun auch der Nr. 4 Sweetheart zu meinen zwei wichtigsten Hobeln in meiner Werkstatt. Mein guter alter Holzhobel bleibt jetzt für immer in der Schublade. Ich kann den Hobel sehr empfehlen. Diese Qualität bekommt man sonst nur bei Lie Nielsen und Veritas, aber für ein vielfaches am Preis.

Luego de pensarlo y sopesarlo mucho, decidimos comprar este cepillo, el Sweetheart 4, por la cantidad de reseñas positivas que vimos. Y la verdad es que esas reseñas están en lo cierto. Este cepillo ofrece una relación calidad-precio increíble. Viene fresado, rectificado y con la cuchilla bastante bien afilada. Prácticamente listo para usarse! Pero además, es bonito, y viene muy bien empacado y protegido. Hay quien dirá que no es un Lie-Nielsen o un Veritas. De eso, no podemos dar cuenta, ya que solo hemos usado un Lie Nielsen de testa una vez y por poquito tiempo, pero para los cepillos que hasta ahora nos hemos podido permitir, el Sweetheart es un cambio muy a mejor, y nos sirve genial. Luego de colocar y graduar la cuchilla empezamos a cepillar y casi nos da seguidilla, de lo suave que va y del buen acabado que da a la madera. Tenemos que seguirlo probando, pero por lo pronto estamos felices de haber hecho esta inversión!

Avec la série sweet Heart, Stanley semble vouloir reprendre son leadership dans l'art de concevoir de beaux et bons rabots. Face aux leaders du haut de gamme que sont Lie Nielsen et Veritas et les rabots d'entrée de gamme, cette série est un coup de force car elle coûte juste 3 fois moins cher que les premiums. Le rabot est beau, lourd, bien usiné, facile à régler, tombe bien en main et fonctionne dès la sortie de la boite. Ce n'est pas si courant. Je n'ai pas résisté à l'envie de faire quelques copeaux, pour voir. Les réglages sont faciles et fluides , d'autant qu'une notice détaillée est fournie et donne les instructions pour les réglages et l'entretien. En 3 minutes, j'ai pu faire des copeaux d'une belle finesse. Objectivement, je ne vois pas ce que je pourrais reprocher à cet outil. Stanley donne ici un sacré coup de vieux aux copies orientales qui, au delà de l'apparence, ne viennent pas à sa cheville. Je pense que c'est un très bon rabot pour débuter, l'erreur étant de vouloir commencer avec une cacahuète.

I own several Lie Nielsen planes which out perform my old Stanleys and Record planes by a good margin, they look great, are built with care and craftsmanship and do exactly what they should, no fuss, no issues. I vowed I would never buy another Stanley, as they have been nothing but a disappointment by comparison. I had some tricky maple to finish and needed a new smoother, tough decision, pay nearly £300 for the Lie Nielsen or take a punt on this new Stanley for less than a third of the price. I took the plunge after reading (very few are out there) some positive reviews, and how glad I am! This plane is as far from recent Stanleys and as close to the current USA made market leaders as you could wish for. Not quite as well finished, but these are only minor cosmetics, the functional bits are great. The plane is hefty, straight, solid and feels like a quality product. The cutter comes sharp and adjusts easily, the shavings are even, wafer thin and the mouth adjusts to nearly nothing quickly and easily. It has made short work of my maple worktop and I'm sure will rapidly become my favourite, go to plane. When you consider the price, the quality is more than close enough to justify the purchase, I've got a bargain, and am delighted with the saved cash I still have in my pocket. If you have concerns of recent Stanley planes' quality, dull, soft cutters and poorly finished castings, don't worry, this one is great!
