The hardware appears to be excellent and of good value. I've been using it for a few weeks. The case is very sturdy, and I am delighted with it. I did not choose to install the wall mount brackets. The Gigabit Ethernet connection was a welcome addition, and I'm very pleased with that feature.I wanted to give this a 5-star rating. Had the documentation been a little clearer, I would have given this a 5-star rating. I would have made this 4.5 had that been an option.There was no documentation in the package. The only documentation available is what's on the Amazon web page. You really have to pay close attention to it and read between the lines. And, IMO, it assumes you have some knowledge the first-time installer or newbie might not possess. For example, the Step #2 photo barely shows the ribbon cable connecting the Pi5 to the Gigabit Ethernet board due to the angle of the picture, and the accompanying text is not precisely written, possibly making it easy, IMHO, to overlook the ribbon. This could become a point of confusion when trying out the board or at the end of setup, when you have the extra part. While I had no problems because I looked over all the parts before I started, I would have some reservations about recommending the device to a newbie who has never had to attach wires/ribbons to a Raspberry Pi 5 (or any earlier model). I have owned PIs from the first model, used cases from several sources over the years, and attached devices to the Pi. Also, I have decades of working with and installing many forms of computer hardware. I can see where a newbie might be confused, noting there is no explanation on how to insert a ribbon cable, which for a first-time installer could pose some frustration --- this is where I think the instructions are written assuming a certain amount of foreknowledge a first-time installer might not have. I am, of course, referring to the need to pull up on the port's clip, insert the ribbon, and then push the port's clip back down again once the ribbon cable is seated correctly.In short, I would highly recommend the hardware. As for the documentation, it could use some work, but if a first-time installer takes their time and does a little research, they should eventually be able to get this working. Hopefully, reading this review beforehand could help.

sehr gut durchdachtes, hochwertig verarbeitetes Raspberry-Gehäuse.Die Anbauplatinen passen hervorragend an das Raspberry und in das Gehäuse.Durch die seitlich berücksichtigte Gehäuse-Aussparung für ein Flachband-Kabel ist weiterhin die Nutzung der GPIOs und externer Kamera-Module problemlos möglich.Ich habe zwar kein Raspberry 5, sondern nur das 4er Modell, habe mir jedoch gedacht, dass das Gehäuse auch dafür passen sollte und meinen Raspberry 4 damit zu einem (fast) kompletten PC aufgerüstet werden kann.Was ich nicht vermutet hätte ist, dass es zwischen Pi4 und Pi5 kleine aber eklatante Unterschiede im Platinenlayout gibt :-(Tipp für alle, die ebenfalls damit liebäugeln:Das tolle Gehäuse ist ohne Umbauarbeiten leider nicht für andere (kleinere) Raspberry-Varianten geeignet. Die PCIe-Erweiterungsplatinen beider hier angebotenen Versionen (A + B) sind ebenfalls nur mit dem 5er nutzbar.Fazit:Tolle Qualität und gut durchdachte Technik zur Erweiterung des Raspberry Pi5 zu einem angemessenen Preis.

Dieses All-in-One-Kit für den Raspberry Pi 5 macht zunächst einen soliden und gut durchdachten Eindruck.Spätestens beim Auspacken fällt jedoch auf, dass es keine Aufbau-Anleitung gibt und man nur mit Hilfe der Fotos auf der Produktseite versuchen muss, das Kit zusammen zu bauen.Eine besondere Hürde stellt dabei das Flachbandkabel zwischen dem Raspi und der GBit-Platine dar, da das Kabel ist nicht so einfach in die entsprechenden Buchsen zu stecken ist, wie es scheinen mag.Leider fällt durch die Nutzung des PCI-Ports für den zusätzliche LAN-Port die Option weg, eine SSD als Boot-Laufwerk zu benutzen und es bleibt nur die Option, eine SSD über USB anzuschließen, oder den Raspi von einer SD-Karte zu betreiben.Das Gehäuse selbst ist solide gefertigt und scharfe Kanten sucht man vergebens. Die Ausschnitte passen perfekt und in Summe ist es ein ausgezeichnetes Gehäuse.Wer die Zweite LAN-Schnittstelle nicht benötigt, findet oberhalb des Raspberry's ausreichend Platz für ein NVME-Hat und kann so einen kleinen, aber soliden Server aufbauen.Fazit:Solides und passgenaues Gehäuse zu einem fairen Preis. Leider fehlt eine Aufbau/Bedienungsanleitung.Wünschenswert wäre, wenn auf der Platine mit dem zusätzlichen LAN-Port noch ein Dual FPC PCIe verbaut wäre, so dass man ein entsprechende NVME-Hat nutzen könnte.Das G
