I got this for Raspberry Pi 4 B, I wish it came with basic instructions on how to set this up. I was able to connect the pins to the correct pins however you still need to code for the device to accept it. It is a complicated process vs simple plug and play screen. Especially if you are beginner, this is a complicated screen to install.

Habe das Display mit einem ESP32 im Einsatz. Es sind zwar eine Menge Kabeln die gesteckt werden müssen, aber das macht man ja nur einmal. Waveshare ist ein relativ bekannter Hersteller, es gibt hier genug Libraries und Tutorials online, das finde ich immer absolut notwendig, weil viele keine Dokumentation mitliefern. Aber, gibt's alles online!Habe das Display im Einsatz für eine selbst-gebaute Rätsel Maschine für Kinder, bin aber jetzt so begeistert von der Auflösung und Qualität des Displays, dass ich mich noch mehr holen möchte und vielleicht sogar als Interface bzw. Monitor für Home Assistant oder Solarwerte einrichten würde. Wahrscheinlich würde sich das Display auch super für das Programmieren von kleineren Spielen usw. anbieten.Für das Angebot wäre es als Display ja schon ausreichen, aber es hat ja auch TOUCH! Wenn ich dran denke, wie schwer bzw. teuer so etwas noch vor einigen Jahren war, und jetzt kann man sich das einfach auf Amazon bestellen und in eigenen Projekten verwenden, dann muss ich schon sagen, Wahnsinn was sich getan hat.Also, klare Kaufempfehlung. Ist mit verschiedensten Komponenten einsetzbar (bei mir erstmal mit ESP32 getestet) und ich hole mir auf jeden Fall wieder welche für weitere Projekte.

Not only does waveshare produce and supply complete end-user products like HATs and companion boards, but they also supply individual parts that can be integrated into your custom solutions.Their 2.8” capacitive touch screen comes with driver board mounted. You merely have to connect DSI cable from the pi (they provide a suitably long DSI cable), and for the touch screen connect prescribed GPIO pins (via a headered cable they also supply).For a component it feels delightfully polished, allowing me to get up and running much more quickly.

Leider nicht direkt für den Pi als OS Display einsetzbar. Qualität ist ansonsten wirklich top. Kabel usw sind dabei, Verpackung ist gut.Die Dokumentation ist auf der WaveShare Seite unter der SKU27579 zu finden.
