Great little chain hoist, smooth operationNOTE first time you use it on a load it doesn’t seem to grip, the handle spins. Keep trying for a few minutes, I think it’s just the newness wearing in.

Guter Teil, ein grosses Problem war, dass der Zug nicht funktioniert hat,die Umschaltung zw. Heben und Senken hat nicht funtioniert, hat auch nicht eingerastet beim Ratschen, war absolut gefährlich. Nachdem beim Umschalten auf Senken beim Probebetrieb das prov. Gewicht(ca.50 kg) nach unten rauschte, ichdann sofort umgeschalten habe hat es einen Kracher gemacht.Das war dann die Reperatur!!Jetzt alles in Ordnung.Bitte als Unerfahrene(r) nicht nachmachen sondern zurück schicken.Bin Mechniker!!!

I purchased this to pull out tree roots, Leylandii, prior to building a new fence. The tool is heavy. That is to be expected. The gearing is low enough to apply the required pulling pressure required to extract/snap the individual roots. I have snapped a couple of webbed slings using this tool, which is also to be expected. Am I happy with it, Yes. Would I recommend it, again Yes. The trees I am taking down are circa 45 feet tall. I obviously use a chain saw, but this lever hoist has been the tool for my application for removing the roots which has allowed the digging of the new post holesHappy, Yes!!.
