Excellent protection, will take a few hours of wearing them before they break-in. After my second day of riding they were fitting great and expect an even more comfortable fit next time out.

The wife and I are approaching retirement and we took up adventure motorcycle riding last year. I have gone through two other pairs of boots from different makers - I found the stiffer boots really tough for clutch work. These are really incomparable - the hinge design is brilliant, I've never felt unsafe for street riding (to get to offroad) for quick clutch shifting needed. And for protection, simply can't find better, truly you feel armored and I can testify their protection. Recently on a BDR run, I hit a very deep sand pocket and went down. The very hot engine and bike chassis came down right on my ankle/foot and pinned me against tree roots for a few moments under the bike. I felt zero pain and walked off the incident. I was pinned for about 45 seconds until I could work myself out of the situation, and any other boot my ankle/foot would have likely been crushed and or burned. Zero effect, really really amazing boot and DEFINITELY worth the cost. Thank you Sidi, now I know why everyone raves about Sidi boots - I will never buy any other brand.
