This is a huge piece of steel. Weighing in at 25lbs this bad boy can cut through your biggest, oldest, nastiest cast iron waste pipes in old residential and commercial plumbing. The only problem is clearance. I would recommend getting the two extra cutting wheels, because with a tool this size in a crawl space or even a basement, you will almost definitely run into plumbing that is against walls, and three cutters will give this tool a lot more versatility. It will last you a lifetime of use. It is faster, cheaper, and less hazardous long term than using a sawzall or angle grinder. With a sawzall you go through $5 blades like candy. With an angle grinder you are burning off metal fumes, not to mention spraying and burning waste stuck to the inside of cast-iron pipe-walls. Having two handles makes it a lot easier for two people to cut through a 6" cast iron pipe. It takes something that would normally be a two hour job and $50 of blades into a 15minute job with $0 of blades thrown out. When it fits, this is THE primo tool of choice. The wheels last an extremely long time compared to other cutting methods, can be sharpened with sand paper, and are replaceable.Oiling the tool and the wheels will keep rust off it and make it last longer. When cutting through water pipes I would highly recommend oiling the entire tool, minus the handles, and at least the cutting wheels and parts where metal move against metal. You don't want a $500 tool rusting on you.Hope that helps.
