MUCH better than the old flexible screen protectors you applied by forcing out air bubbles that I remember when iphones were relatively new things. These are hard glass sheets that are very thin.If you follow the steps you'll end up with a totally clean surface. Then you just lay it down and it forms a tight enough bond that it'll stay on there. The visual of the gel layer applying itself and the bond spreading is kind of mesmerizing. I re positioned mine until I liked the alignment which had no negative effect on the bond. Easy enough to remove with a fingernail, but thin enough that things are unlikely to catch the edge accidentally.Touch controls seem unaffected, still sensitive.I've got one of those silicone GGS optical viewfinders for the back of my Sigma FP L which provides a really clear, magnified view of the screen and is 1/10th the cost of the Sigma LVF-11. It has the downside of shifting around a little since it's just attached by stretchy bands. Not too annoying in itself given the price, but I decided not to use it as tiny rocks could get lodged in there and cause scratches as it shifted. But that's no longer a concern!

Found this to fit nicely on the Sigma FP LCD. It wraps around the black edges (non-light-emitting surface) but does not overlap the indentation. The installation is easy. As expected with tempered glass, there is some refraction above the standard glass.Glad they included 3 of these since cameras get thrown in the bag and things can get scratched.
