I bought these because the big brand jars are stupidly expensive. I thought I'd give them a try for canning tomato sauce in a Presto pressure cooker. They work as expected so far. The lids seem light enough but do the job.I wish the seller would also offer the lids as a separate purchase. All lids will eventually rust and need replacing. I'll keep checking back in case they ever list them.

As hoped for, I had read some previous feedback about single lids being provided but these came with the 2 piece lids. One jar damaged but that's acceptable

Superb packaging, not one broken jar. Just what I wanted, the right size and shape. The driver left the package in my carport so the box stayed dry. It rains every day here. Very reasonable price and free shipping I am so happy. Keep up the good work

These can be used for canning, they have a proper seal but they are one piece lids unlike in the picture; it seems lots of people returned them because of this. I picked up a bunch of open box ones from amazon warehouse. I use them for makeing jars for growing mushroom mycelium, haveing a one piece lid is actually better for the installation of the self-healing injection port and syringe filter so i am quite happy.They work fine enough in the pressure cooker and have a proper seal, as you are supposed to throw away the lids after each canning use i am not sure why people are upset about the lids, but i will happily pick up any open box ones i can.
