Not *quite* as heavy duty as I would have liked, but it's sturdy enough that it will be fine. I love the adjustable bar spacing so you can set it up for mini or full-size pedals, that's REALLY nice touch. Also, the hook and loop that comes with it is REALLY high quality. Adjustable angle is nice, and the bag seems well made, especially for the SUPER reasonable price. I'd DEFINITELY buy this again.

I already use a Gorilla pedalboard for some of my guitar pedals, but needed a second for some of my older pedals (e.g. Carlsbro) that have a larger footprint, and which are less often used. Enter the mid-size Palmer MI Pedalbay 60, at a good deal price on Amazon. The way of securing the power supply I use (a Truetone 1-Spot Pro CS-7 that can support 1900 mA draw by pedals - all of mine and then some!) was not great on the Gorilla pedalboard - elasticated straps. The Palmer is similar, but seems to suit the 1-Spot installation better. It was forever dropping out of the Gorilla webbing but the Palmer seems to hold the PSU rock steady. It's interesting that such a simple system can give such differing results. As a result the Palmer is now the board with the PSU and the core pedals, and the Gorilla is the satellite pedalboard holding the retro devices, and I can move them around in the studio without any worries of a PSU falling out and pulling a few cables with it.Build quality is on par with similar inexpensive pedalboards, the welds all seem secure and it can certainly stand up to being stood on by someone of typical healthy build, so I guess it will cope with the pedals! The case is the real decider for me, my older pedals have needed opening and their components getting a good clean from all the dirt that accumulated over the years, entering via sockets or even switches and knob mechanisms even (or especially) when they're not being used. Crackly pots come from all kinds of reasons, but usually crud and corrosion, and if you're anything like me and keep some especially good pedals "forever" then having such a nice case, and one that has an external pouch for accessories (or customs paperwork, come to that), is great. The Palmer pedalboard competes on price with similar ones that lack the case and which are a pain for fitting a PSU to. If you're not intending to pay a significant premium for Pedaltrain but you'd like something a smidgin less basic than the usual budget offerings, the Palmer is a great choice.

Cannot fault this, decent sturdy pedalboard, slats are reposition able with supplied allen key, comes with (good) velcro tape and study carry bag. Pedals are easy to fit, wiring is easy through the metal slats, and it all packs nicely into its bag. Only small negative is the elasticated bands supplied to fit over lugs underneath to hold the power block in; they look like they will fray and/or lose elasticity in a short time. Sturdy silicone rubber bands would have been better.I battled with a few different home-made boards for gigging over the years but they always ended up damaged or faulty after a couple of months, this feels like it will last well. I also struggled with paying crazy money for a pre-fab pedal board, in excess of £120, so this coming with adjustable bars, tape, allen key and bag is really good value for money.

Gran pedalboard!
