A much better scale book than the previous edition. This is presented in Grade order with everything laid out for each grade so it is easy to use. It is important to know that the syllabus has changed so the scales for each grade are now different. The dominant 7ths. now finish on the tonic of the key instead of a straight up and down as previously. All very logical but you will have to throw away your old scale books and buy new! All this apply to the 6 - 8 book as well.
