This RGB microphone delivers clear and crisp sound, making it perfect for recording or streaming. The mic sits on a stable base, which keeps it secure, and it doesn't take up much space on my desk. I really like the RGB lights around the base. They look cool when turned off at night, but still bright enough to see during the day. The mic also has easy-to-use controls for muting and adjusting volume. I do like how I can control the lights so I can turn them off when I’m playing horror games. Setting it up was quick. All I had to do was just plug it into my computer, and it worked without needing to install any software. Overall, it’s a great microphone that works well and looks good too.

Pros:Clear, crisp audio, perfect for video calls, streaming, and recordings.Simple plug and play setup for my MacBook.Durable, well built structure and nice finish.Mute button and volume control for easy tweaking.Verdict:I use this microphone for team meetings on my MacBook and sound quality is just fantastic. My voice is picked up easily and much better than when using an onboard microphone. The build quality is good too, a sturdy and nicely built unit compared to some lower priced units. My 10 year old uses it for creating content for her YouTube and it really makes them better in quality. It is simple for her and for me to use and good and quality sound. It is best for use at home for work, live streams, or creating content. It is a good microphone for use in each circumstance.

I was using a large microphone mounted on a pivoting desk stand but it was taking up too much space so when I saw this it looked more suitable being a compact unit.On opening, this microphone looks well made for the price point and with the added RGB lighting it is more fun in a gaming environment. The moulding is clean and fairly precise with no burrs or marks giving this microphone a modern clean appearance. Connection is made very simply using the USB cable, obviously this means that it can only be used with a device that allows a USB microphone such as a computer or gaming machine. On testing, this device has a superb sound quality, users at the other end of my call told me that my voice was clear and the background noise was negligible, this surprised me at the price of this unit being only £22.97 at the time of writing. The RGB lighting when on my gaming desk looked pretty good, I would have liked more control and maybe an Aura setting to sync it with a computer but it is still very good for what it is.There is just one issue for me and that is with the weight of the base, it is rather light so the microphone doesn't take much for it to move or to topple over. I solved this by using a double sided sticky pad but it would have been so much better with a decent weight on the base of the stand.Overall, this is very good value for money having a terrific audio quality allowing me to be heard clearly and without breakups or crackles. The RGB lighting to me is a bonus and does add to the aesthetics for gaming.Recommended.

This USB microphone offers good performance for a budget-friendly price, particularly for gamers and streamers on a tight budget. The sound quality is perfectly fine for casual calls, gaming, or streaming, though it’s not going to rival more expensive microphones if you’re after professional audio. At £22.97, it’s a fair deal for what you get.The setup is simple—plug and play with no need for drivers. The adjustable gooseneck is handy for positioning, and the RGB lights add a fun touch (or a distraction, depending on your office vibe). The base could use some improvement in terms of stability, as it can be knocked over easily when extended, but it’s lightweight and portable. The mic itself picks up decent audio at good volume from about 10cm away, and noticeably quieter at a foot away, but if you get too close, expect some distortion. On the plus side, it works well with PCs, and PS4, and doesn’t require any complicated setup. The mute switch and volume controls are easy to access, though I found the placement of the RGB and volume buttons a bit odd, being under the mic. But hey, it’s a small gripe for something that’s otherwise user-friendly.Pros:- Clear audio for casual use (better than laptop mics)- USB plug-and-play setup- Adjustable gooseneck for easy positioning- RGB lights for style (or can be turned off)- Lightweight and portableCons:- Easily tipped over if extended too far- Audio distortion if too close and quiet if too far away- A bit of background noise picked up during recordings- Buttons could be better placedIf you're looking for an affordable mic for gaming or calls, it’s a decent pick, but audio enthusiasts might want to spend a little more for higher fidelity.

Compared to some of the better rectangular bluetooth lav mics I've tested, this one can certainly compete....but only at less than half a foot from the mouth. At that distance, the compression is actually pretty good and the audio is decently balanced. It does still have some background hiss though, so there's clearly no onboard noise cancellation. Removing the pop filter also makes it slightly more tinny, but not by much. No terrible problems with popping either, which is a plus. The biggest downside is that the audio volume and quality drop off dramatically at about 10-12" distance from the mouth. And that's about where it's most comfortable to have it without having to lean in. I had to crank the volume and run quite a few filters in OBS to get a decent sound. It just works so much better close up. In fact, if they had put the same mic on a gaming headset it would've been awesome. The build isn't bad either. The gooseneck is essentially perfect and the USB cable is pretty long. The base is quite lightweight though, and the RGB patterns are a little lackluster in a well-lit room.Another slight misstep was the rather cheap plastic mute toggle on the front. MASSIVE feedback blip when you turn the audio on and off. Really would've been better to have it as a button. And as for the volume buttons on the bottom...why not have them next to the mute for convenience? To prevent accidental pushes perhaps? Strange decision to put them there.Overall, I can't say that I'm overly impressed with the raw audio from this mic, but for the price it's actually not bad. Definitely beats out those ubiquitous BT mics so see out there with the plug-in 3.5 mm jack. Despite those having noise cancellation, the audio is terrible. This one does have some background hiss, and the higher frequencies are still tinny, but at least the clarity is there. Definitely a boost in the low end at 6" and closer, so that's where the sound is best balanced. If you like talking directly into the mic, then this thing is a great deal. You will have contend with that "pop" though every time you hit the mute. For me, the RGB is really just a gimmick, but at least it works too. Three and half stars for a slightly better than average USB mic.
