Don't waste your money. It doesn't seal. the tolerance is to are terrible. Leaks fuel from the valve. Ill be returning it.

Ordered this to repair my '88 Evinrude 30HP electric primer. Easy to install, but upon ops checking it, the thing leaked past the o-ring on the Auto/Manual stem (the red piece, only part with an o-ring). I compared my original stem/o-ring to the new one and was easily visible that the new stem o-ring was smaller (i.e. not as thick). I really didn't need the ability to add 'winterizing' fluid to my engine so I dumped the new one and installed my original stem/o-ring into the new cover (which I needed because I broke the vacuum tube ports on my original cover). If you need the winterizing feature you will have to either go buy a thicker o-ring or order this kit from a different vendor, OR go OEM (which is probably your best bet b/c no telling if aftermarket vendors are all sourcing their parts from the same place, b/c let's face it, this isn't a high demand part).
