Not sure about these they tarnished after 1 use and have a strange smell that discourages their use

I probably would have given this copper pitcher a 5 star if it didn't leak. I was able to return it and the replacement arrived almost immediately. I don't know what caused the first one to leak. Maybe it was because I kept it in the refrigerator? Something to do with contraction and expansion? Or, maybe it was the condensation? Whatever it was, it leaked. My second one doesn't leak. However, I don't put it in the refrigerator.

Just received. Positives, the jug is beautiful and craftsmanship is very good.Jug was slightly crushed and was more oval than circular. Didn't expect it to be of solid construction but didn't think it would be as thin as it is. Put the lid on it and pushed it back into shape.Based on the size of the box, I could tell the jug was going to be smaller than the advertised 47.3 ounces. Out of curiosity, I filled it with a measuring cup, holds roughly 40 ounces, any more and the water will run out of the spout. Recognize it is only 7 ounces but still a peeve that it is less than advertised.Looking forward to using it and hope the advertised benefits are better than the advertised size.
