Apparently this racket is an older model and has known issues with strings breaking. Sure enough after about a month of weekly usage the strings broke. The club and another separate store said I'm better off buying a new raquet than trying to restring. (One place attempted but the strings broke again....and they gave it back to me "on the house" still broken.Overall its a cool raquet with light feel but who cares. Don't buy this. You're better off getting a cheaper raquet until you go pro.

Very happy with this racquet. The weight is perfect and it has a nice sweet spot. The price is a little higher than racquets I have had in the past but the performance of this racquet makes it worth the cost.

The racquet itself is very good, Head makes a good product and have enjoyed using it. The problem is I had to return the originally purchased unit because the "leather" handle unraveled after a few uses. I returned it and received a replacement unit, quickly The exact same thing happened to that unit. I tried to return that one but all they would do is provide a refund. Instead I purchased a handle wrap for $6.99 and fixed it myself. Very good racquet aside from the "leather" handle. Do yourself a favor and just purchase something to go over the new handle before using it if you make this purchase.

Wanted to wait until I'd had a chance to really break this in and see how it played before reviewing. I'm writing this about 2 months after purchasing it and dozens of games. So I play with a small group of guys, some 1 v 1, some cutthroat. One guy I play with on a regular basis is fairly evenly matched skill-wise and we've been keeping a monthly win/loss score since January. Up until I bought the Head Ti.175, we were about breaking even; he'd win a month, I'd win a month. Usually the margin of victory was 3 or 4 games, sometimes tighter.Since buying this racquet, I have won about 90% of my games against him. The racquet really has been the only difference. I certainly haven't been taking lessons or getting any faster. Not bitten by a radioactive spider or injected with a super soldier serum. My midichlorian remains the same. The Head raquet is lighter than the one I was playing with before (an old Ektelon), probably newer strings help with the zing. The ball comes off with a lot more zip and there is definitely a wider sweet spot than I'm accustom to as some shots feel a little off on the strike, but they go where I want anyway. I had reservations about investing in this raquet, but none now. Worth every penny.

A good racket for providing swing speed to dig the ball out of the back corners. The strings are tight and the grip reasonably tacky. A heavier racket would give more power to shots. It comes with a racket cover that has a handy zip pocket for small items.
