Description needs to be changed, as this seems to be designed for SanDisk Extreme SSD's (both Standard and Pro), not WD_BLACK drives.

As technology has developed, I've gradually replaced all my portable drives with SSD drives. While they're a lot sturdier than magnetic drives, they can still be susceptible to damage in transit and because they're a lot more expensive, it's a no brainer to get a case to protect them on the move. This case fits the WD drives perfectly. Fixes them firmly in place with the band in the middle of the case and a handy sleeve in the lid for cabling. The cases very hard and sturdy and offers great protection to my portable drive without being too bulky.

I tried it with two different M.2 external drives and the fit was good with room in the other half for a USB C cable at least 3' in length. Overall, this is a robust, heavy duty case that will protect your valuable drive and last for years.
