Quite possibly the best dog-related purchase I’ve ever made! Sturdy, multi-function, takes all the abuse my strong small dog can give it. Takes the strain off my shoulders. I can clip her to it and have her hands-free while I concentrate on my little dog who is a bugger for trying to catch bicycles. I tried a Halti control lead first but it wasn’t quite long enough to attach to the front clip on her harness comfortably. This is the perfect length and I can adjust it quickly and easily.I just wish there was a thinner version for my little dog. I have used it on him and it’s great, but a bit too heavy for his 4kg. I’d love one exactly the same but perhaps 1/2 - 2/3 the thickness.

This strong lead should be suitable for quite a large dog. It can be easily adjusted to wear across the body if you have one dog. The lead is very long and although it has clips for using with two dogs I personally don’t feel that it will be practical used this way.

Although this double lead os being marketed for two dogs, they are also useful to use for training a dog to stop pulling. If you have a harness where you can clip one end of the lead to the front/ chest and the other to the regular lead clip on the back when walking your dog, if the dog pulls they will pull themselves around in a circle. You can get specialist harness and lead combos for exactly this purpose.I sometimes walk a huge German Shepherd pup with my dog, and the GS pull a lot as excitable puppies often do. So I ordered this lead to see whether having the double ended lead could help to teach him to walk more calmly. So I took the two dogs for a walk. As a double lead for two dogs, this didn't work particularly well for me - no fault of the lead, more because the two dogs have to be kept separate as my older sighthound gets anxious about the big, over-exuberant GS. So I put my girl on her own lead and tried this double-ended with the GS. It worked well - he quickly realised that if he pulled it was making him turn; and it was much easier for me than the tedious walking-round-in-circles approach.The lead itself is good and strong: thick rope, well fastened with strong clips. Recommended!

Use it to walk my 54kg dog on a harness. It offers gentle resistance to quick or harsh movements. I just loop it round my waist and he loves it. It's made a real difference from his original strap rope lead
