I worked as a Starbucks barista for several years, and while ties aren't required, I'm a classy guy. However, it soon became apparent that a dark green tie is almost impossible to find in stores! Seriously, take a look the next time you're in Macy's. The green you're more likely to find is a brighter kelly green, Islamic green, or harlequin (yes, I looked up shades of green on Wikipedia for this review). I needed a darker green, as you know from the logo on your Starbucks cup. This tie was perfect; the dots were enough to get a favorable glance from customers but not so ostentatious that the boss would tell me not to wear it. The tie is also made of a durable fabric, which is good for wearing it to work every day. It's still probably my favorite tie, and definitely worth $10.99.
