I don’t know where to begin in describing what an impact on my perspective and how I think; Stephen Hawking has made on me. He is yet again another individual figure that represents so much to Humanity. Even displaying our most noblest of qualities, especially in that of most finest and brightest minds in human history.This book is a concise piece of fascinating work that describes and emulates ideas that conceptualises attempts in answering big questions. Especially questions that go from the dawn of the birth of philosophy to modern questions incorporating all we currently believe to understand. Any person(s) that take a serious and informed approach in contributing to the answering of these large questions deserves to be commended.To be as objectionable as I can, I still find myself agreeing with most if not all explanations and perspectives provided in these writings. I am glad there remains a permanent mark in history for this text and it’s ideas.I recommend this book, even if not for the ideas or the person, but the science inside is fun yet difficult to wrap your head around, at least for me anyway. I like this book, hope whoever reads it finds that too.

In my opinion the book is very good: well written and able to pass the message that Nature is incredibly fascinating.I keep re-reading its parts and each time I discover something that I did not have realized before.Of course, the fact that no mathematics is present may be a limit for those readers with deeper background, however there are already many textbooks on Cosmology and Quantum mechanics that can satisfy their curiosity. From my side, I have just started with the R. Penrose's " Road to Reality".I recommend the book without any hesitation.

Honestamente, esperaba algo más del último libro de este hombre brillante. Pero para aquellos que nunca han oído hablar de las cosas mencionadas en el libro, este es un gran comienzo. Trabajo decente.

Nunca me había atrevido a leer a Hawking. Me intimidaba no comprender bien sus teorías.Sin embargo, este ha sido el libro de divulgación que más me ha enganchado, y he leído con más intriga. Súper fácil de seguir, y lo que más me ha impactado, su capacidad para plantear las preguntas correctas.

Aunque uno puede ser consciente de la importancia de Stephen Hawking como científico y como icono de la ciencia, este libro demuestra que es un auténtico filosofo. Sus conclusiones respaldados por ciencia pura pero siempre desde una postura de respeto y tolerancia y con una buena dosis de humor hacen de este libro una lectura imprescindible.

Awesome, dazzling, incredibly smart, the adjectives become exhausted when trying to describe the life and achievements of Stephen Hawking and now, posthumously, he produces this little book with his thought on a variety of issues, not the least of them IS THERE A GOD? (his answer is no). Absolutely fine reading and full of sense. Among the best books I came across in the last 5 years
