It's a EU version and needs an update to keeping it from freezing up sometimes but a good game. Hard at the end.

I played this game whenever I was a child around its original release date in 2007. The disk is playable, but the game freezes at least once every time I boot up my PS3. I've had one other game freeze on my PS3 the others I have work perfectly that's my only gripe with the disk I purchased. I'm about two missions away before facing Rashid ad-Din Sinan for like the tenth time in my life. Overall, the game itself is a fivestar game if it plays properly. The story presents a rich alternate history with plenty of stealth, action, and extra materials. The game covers surface level philosophy about freedom vs order. It poses the question "Do humans have freewill" and it works excellently as a stand alone game. Despite, being a first in an amazing series. I've only played the first five games, but they all have been wonderful to me. I recommend this title to anyone with interest in history, philosophy, action, adventure, and world building.
