Das Besondere von diesem Drah, ist die vielseitige Anwendung, was die Nutzer auch selbst kennen. Außerdem ist die Menge und der Preis dazu im guten Verhältnis. Interessant ist bei der Bestellung gewesen, dass man auch eine Farbvariationsmöglichkeit hatte und somit seinen Bedürfnissen anzupassen. Ob im Garten zum befestigen von Pflanzen oder auch handwerklichen Techniken genutzt, ist dieser Draht sehr hilfreich. Zumindest da wo ein normaler Bindfaden nicht mehr Genüge ist. Auch beim Basteln kann er als Befestigungs- und Arretierungsdraht benutzt werden.Letztendlich entscheidet dass jeder selbst.

Although this wire is eminently suitable for use in the garden, where it will have numerous versatile applications… nevertheless it can be used elsewhere, both domestically and industrially, even in the arts. In fact I am using it both in the garden and in my sculpture studio, where I have found it perfect as an armature wire, conveniently securing rigid supports for clay and other modelling materials. This wire is strong, but will bend fairly easily and then firmly stay in place, not springing back. The white PVC (polyvinyl-chloride) plastic coating is of a professional, industrial standard and does not deteriorate, and prevents the rusting of the underlying metal core which looks like steel, and said by the manufacturer to have been galvanized. It is claimed to be weatherproof, and the plastic coating certainly looks sufficiently thick and sturdy enough to resist both rain and frost. I would expect this coated wire to be long lasting even in the most challenging exterior situations.I tested this wire out, by bending it rapidly back and fro on itself, and found it did not break until I have repeated over 50 bends, and even then the plastic saved it from completely breaking apart. The plastic is surprisingly tough and works exceptionally well as a protective coating, as well as a securer of last resort. I was impressed by the quality of the product.The wire comes in a coil, two coils in fact, of 25 metres in length, which is secured by 3 plastic zip ties. It is tricky to unwind. The temptation is to cut these zip ties and release the wire, but it is best to refrain from doing so, since the wire coils will spring out and you will lose control. Instead carefully unwind the wire, pulling it out through the retaining zip ties… this takes patience, and this zip tie securing method is not the most satisfactory means of presenting the product. One hopes the manufacturer thinks of a better solution in future. Although it is claimed you can cut it with scissors, it is better to use specialist wire cutters, since repeated use of scissors will eventually damage the scissor blades. This wire is strong enough to use with tensioners and will not break or fail under stress, a useful property if you want to get any kinks out of the wire and make it taut and more effective.Overall… a quality product, very versatile, performs well for most uses and in most situations. Economical, a good buy.
